Fall 2009 has seen a marked increase in Twitter use, according to the Pew Internet Project. While the headlines dwell on the phenomenal usage among the young, mature marketers should note that use by those in the 55-65 age group increased from 4 to 10% in less than a year, and in the 65+ group, Twitter use rose from 2 to 4%.
