Lenbrook, a nationally accredited senior living community in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, has an immediate opening for a Sales Counselor to conduct sales presentations to prospective residents.  This person will promote a variety of private residence floor plan options within the community.

  • Must be energetic with upbeat attitude and have a professional appearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to make sales presentations with confidence and conviction
  • Minimum of two years’ sales experience
  • Previous work in sales and marketing in a retirement environment a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing or related degree

New Resident Move-in Coordinator – Lenbrook Retirement Community, Buckhead/Atlanta, GA

Lenbrook, a nationally accredited senior living community in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, has an immediate opening for a New Resident Move-in Coordinator to assist with selection of custom interiors, obtain cost estimates for changes, create punch lists for move-in readiness, conduct orientation to the community, and coordinate the overall  move-in process to ensure smooth transition.

This person will communicate with depositors on a bi-weekly basis, and maintain accurate records relative to the process.

  • Excellent listening, written, verbal, and customer service skills
  • Ability to build relationships using personal consultative skills
  • Handle routine problems, identify solutions for objections or obstacles, and know when to refer problems to supervisor
  • Energetic with upbeat attitude and professional appearance
  • BA or BS in business, sales, design, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in administrative support or sales; knowledge of gerontology a plus

Staff Accountant/Office Assistant – Love & Company - Frederick, MD

Reports to Business Manager and the Chief Accountant Member of Administration Team

Position Description

The staff accountant/office assistant is responsible for helping ensure Love & Company’s accounting and administration processes run efficiently and effectively. He/she is responsible for administering all accounting-based processes and records accurately and in a timely fashion.

The staff accountant/office assistant is the voice and face of Love & Company for outside callers and guests. The person in this position also provides general office support to the company, ensuring Love & Company operates in an excellent manner.

Projected Work Schedule

This is a 40-hour per week position, with time divided approximately in half between accounting and office support duties.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Accounts payable entry and processing – Enter invoices, obtain proper approvals as required – Prepare and process check runs as directed – Maintain recurring payment information – Answer payment inquiries from vendors and staff – Prepare 1099s – Prepare quarterly state sales tax payments – Reconcile monthly credit card statements – Enter employee expense reports

• Cash receipts entry – Enter receipts daily

• Provide back-up for payroll and benefits administration – Prepare payroll information for processing by HRI; verify accuracy – Enter payroll data for bi-weekly payroll processing – Process 401(k) payments

• General accounting support – Set up accounting and administrative files as directed – File all accounting-related records in a timely manner – Provide assistance to Business Manager as directed• Company support – Act as receptionist for office – Answer incoming calls; proficient with phone system – Provide travel management – Provide administrative support for the president and staff – Assist with supply management – Run errands as necessary

Qualifications

The person we are looking for will have at least three years of accounting, bookkeeping and human resources experience. A degree or training relating to accounting and/or business management is preferred.

Professional telephone etiquette required. The successful candidate will exhibit a cheerful, friendly, supportive and helpful disposition along with the desire and ability to calmly and professionally work with a growing organization to maintain excellence.

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite for Mac: Word and Excel, in particular. Please bring to our attention any proficiency with Workamajig.

Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation required.

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience, between $13 and $20 an hour.
